We are hiring Sales Operations Analysts to join a team of experts who help Canonical sales teams achieve their business goals. The Sales Operations team drives continuous process and data quality improvement to ensure orders are processed correctly. The successful candidate will be a leader who shows initiative in improving team workflows, maintaining compliance, and governance. The success of the role is measured by increasing deal velocity and the quality of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data used for key business decisions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver and team player, passionate about partnering with sales leadership and about our role in the technology industry bringing open source to a wider audience of innovators and enterprises. They will also design and drive programs supporting Canonical's continued success. Location: These roles will be based remotely in the EMEA and Americas regions. The role entails: Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the sales function globally Reviewing opportunities for accuracy and provisioning orders upon successful deal closure Supporting the Sales Operations Manager to improve sales data quality and processes Reporting on data quality metrics to executive stakeholders Implementing surveys and defining metrics for executive stakeholders Supporting the sales team globally on CRM and other sales operations systems Delivering sales metrics, dashboards, and ad-hoc analytical tasks Leading automation and streamlining the Lead to Order process What we are looking for in you: An exceptional academic record from high school and university Experience in a sales operations or sales order processing role Experience in a technology subscription-based business Experience driving data quality improvement An energetic, thoughtful, systematic approach focused on robust, repeatable, and scalable outcomes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work productively with stakeholders at all organizational levels globally Ability to manage across boundaries and communicate effectively, especially with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events, up to two weeks long What Canonical offers: A distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person A personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year Annual compensation review Recognition rewards Annual holiday leave Maternity and paternity leave Employee Assistance Programme Opportunities to travel to new locations to meet colleagues Priority Pass and travel upgrades for long-haul company events About Canonical: Canonical is a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of the global move to open source.
