Claims Settlement Assistant Manager

We are currently looking for a “Claims Settlement Assistant Manager” This position assists the claims settlement manager in the control of the claims settlement cycle for the Med Net UAE, Oman and Bahrain from collection, allocation, settlement, and payment of the claim in MN+ and the bank. The role is also responsible for the reconciliation of claims bank accounts, other revenues and claims control equation. Your Job: Process and Leadership: Oversee end-to-end claims collection and payment processes, including Direct Member Reimbursements and provider payments across all Med Net entities. Resolve operational issues and complaints, advise management on improvements, and support team development through training and feedback. Ensure the implementation of compliant procedures and controls for claims settlement, maintaining cost-effectiveness and service quality. Manage EPD (Invoice Discounting) processes and support policy development in alignment with Med Net Group standards. Control: Conduct quarterly compliance checks on claims processing, support external audits, and follow up on audit action plans. Enforce key accounting controls and ensure adherence to bank mandates for financial governance. Reporting: Prepare monthly claims aging dashboards, escalate slow-paying PICs, and secure annual balance confirmations from PICs and key providers. Your profile: Ensures that internal communication requirements with all departments are being adhered to in a timely and professional manner for work-related issues. Ongoing communication with relevant internal departments about payment-related issues Direct reports about the completion of month-end reporting and reconciliations Ensures that external communication requirements with PICs are being adhered to in a timely and professional manner. Ongoing with providers and accounts payable services for payment-related issues. Auditors for confirmation of balances when required (annually). Works under the general direction of the Claims Settlement Manager. Work is done as per corporate procedures and in compliance with regulatory and contractual terms. Qualification/Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Working knowledge of recognized ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Advanced Microsoft Excel. Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in accounting and working in claims or payments clearing environment. Experience in multinational companies preferred.
