Maintenance Engineer -HVAC
Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Engineer with expertise in cooling towers to join our maintenance and service team. The engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing the preventive and corrective maintenance of cooling towers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to manage teams, maintenance schedules, and third-party vendors. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for cooling towers and related HVAC systems. Supervise and guide the troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical issues in cooling tower components, including motors, fans, pumps, and drift eliminators. Supervise and guide technicians during maintenance and installation activities. Review and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and longevity. Ensure timely documentation of maintenance work, service reports, and equipment records. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Coordinate procurement of spare parts and consumables. Provide training to junior staff on maintenance procedures and safety practices. Liaise with OEMs or third-party vendors for technical support when necessary. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum 4–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, specific to cooling tower systems. Strong knowledge of cooling tower operations, HVAC systems, and water treatment practices. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
