Job Description & Requirements Workshop Technician - Mission Equipment / Hoist Shop Published on 06/05/2025 Overview Assist the ALSE Supervisor to accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all aviation life support equipment (ALSE), including Night Vision Goggles. Also will be responsible for: Remove, replace, service, prepare, preserve, clean, and store ALSE / NVG equipment. Perform scheduled periodic maintenance inspections on ALSE / NVG equipment, including but not limited to aviation helmets, oxygen masks, survival vests, first aid kits, headsets, life rafts, night vision devices, survival radios, survival packs, and pyrotechnics, following directives, technical publications, and approved procedures. Check ALSE records to ensure inspections are completed timely according to all applicable manuals. Work with aviators and crewmembers to ensure proper fit and use of ALSE / NVG equipment. Requisition all ALSE / NVG parts and maintain shop and bench stock for repairs. Inspect and prepare forms and records as per DA PAM 738-751 and internal regulations. Train host national personnel on proper maintenance of ALSE equipment. Manage tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
