Skills IT - Networking & Telecom Piping Engineer Experience 5+ Years Education High School/Secondary Location Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Company Saipem Job Description and Requirements Mission Perform technical tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, related to design, verification, or study activities. Interface with other project specialists, designers, and draftsmen. Coordinate technical activities inside or outside Saipem. Tasks Execute activities within your responsibility, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements. Development of technology know-how and commercial support. Feasibility studies. Bidding phase / development of commercial proposals. Bill of materials. Plot plan layout proposals. Support the lead in defining man-hours and cost estimates. Project execution support, ensuring achievement of goals and quality requirements. Analyze technical documents to assess scope and risks. Seek solutions for project savings. Estimate quantities or validate estimations by team specialists. Check all produced documents like design reports, specifications, and drawings. Write piping and layout methodologies and design premises. Validate technical documents against budgets and resources. Organize team work and define resource planning. Monitor progress, control men-hours, and review documents. Participate in review activities and meetings. Provide technical support to project groups, procurement, subcontracting, and construction. Supervise specifications, requisitions, and bid evaluations. Inform the project lead of technical, financial, or delay risks. Contribute lessons learned to department improvement.
