Direct message the job poster from TXM Solutions Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer – Electrical & ELV to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor electrical and ELV installation works at site as per drawings, specifications, and approved method statements. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Review IFC drawings and raise RFIs when required; ensure implementation of redline/as-built markups. Inspect site work regularly and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and engineering standards. Ensure material inspections (MRIRs) and site inspections (WIRs) are conducted and approved. Support project manager with progress reports, site measurements, and documentation. Provide technical input during planning, design coordination, and execution stages. Attend technical and progress meetings with clients and consultants. Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery. Assist with testing, commissioning, and handing-over activities. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of site experience in Electrical and ELV systems in MEP projects in the UAE. Hands-on knowledge of systems such as Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, BMS, Structured Cabling, and Public Address. Strong familiarity with DEWA/ADDC/AADC/Etisalat/DU regulations and approvals. Excellent reading and interpretation skills of electrical layouts and ELV schematics. Proficient in MS Office, Auto CAD, and electrical design tools. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with major MEP contractors or consultants in the UAE. UAE driving license is an advantage. Knowledge of LEED or ESTIDAMA is a plus.
