Description
Prepare, review, and manage documentation for import/export shipments including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations Coordinate bookings with freight forwarders and shipping lines for sea, air, and land transport Ensure all shipping documents comply with local and international regulations Customs & Compliance Liaise with customs brokers, port authorities, and government agencies to ensure timely clearance Monitor compliance with import/export laws, sanctions, and trade restrictions Maintain up-to-date HS codes, duty structures, and tariff classifications Logistics Coordination Track and manage shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams regarding shipment status and inventory movement Manage shipping schedules and resolve issues related to delays or damages Build relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate freight rates Manage performance of carriers and ensure service level agreements are met Resolve discrepancies or claims related to logistics operations Reporting & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and documentation Prepare weekly/monthly logistics performance reports and customs summaries Ensure data is updated in ERP or logistics systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
