To Learn more about Nym Card visit our Website and Linked In.The Role The Information Security Engineer plays a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's information assets by maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data. They are responsible for implementing and managing robust security measures, conducting comprehensive security assessments, mitigating vulnerabilities, and responding promptly to security incidents. The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential threats, deploy effective controls, and provide technical expertise to fortify the organization's systems, networks, and data against cyber threats and malicious activities.Main Duties And Responsibilities Work closely with the Information Security head to analyze and identify various information security risks and vulnerabilities. Propose, design, and implement relevant security changes where feasible. Analyze regulatory security requirements across GCC where required. Play a core role in designing and accepting new infrastructure and platform initiatives from a security perspective. Perform regular internal and external vulnerability scans as per corporate policies, and advise the Dev Ops team about priorities. Organize regular internal and external penetration tests as per corporate policies. Support technology teams in internal and external security audits, focusing on automated and infrastructure audits (IAC security) — Cloud services, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc. Lead remediation efforts for audit, scan, and pen-test findings in collaboration with other technology teams. Coordinate installation, configuration, and maintenance of critical security applications such as AV, SIEM, DLP, FIM with Dev Ops and related teams. Promote information security concepts within the technology team and act as an ambassador for the Info Sec team. Assist with source code security reviews across various development languages. Skills And Qualifications Degree in Engineering or Information Technology or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security engineering Strong understanding of information security frameworks and practices; PCI-DSS experience is a plus Experience with infrastructure security tools (WAFs, IPS/IDS, Next Gen Firewalls) Experience with system security tools (Antivirus, FIM, SIEM like Wazuh/OSSEC, IAM) Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or other cluster management software Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Strong interpersonal, organizational skills, and team spirit Positive attitude, flexible approach Analytical, detail-oriented, quick learner Problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate future issues Effective stakeholder management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
