United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Product Category Analyst provides analytical and coordination support to the Procurement team by examining product consumption patterns, supplier performance, and pricing trends across the group’s portfolio of medical consumables and Med Tech devices. The role supports the development of cost-effective procurement strategies, standardization initiatives, and competitive bidding processes. Working in collaboration with Finance, Clinical, and Supply Chain stakeholders, the Product Category Analyst ensures evidence-based decision-making that enhances procurement value, supplier performance, and operational efficiency KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS 1 Product and Spend Data Analysis2 Procurement Strategy and Tendering Support3 Bid Evaluation and Adjudication4 Implementation and Standardization Rollout5 Supplier Monitoring and Market Intelligence REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Supply Chain, Biomedical Engineering, or related field REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 2–4 years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain, or category management Healthcare experience preferred REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Data Analysis and reporting Demonstrate financial skill with regards to the compilation of quotes and tenders Tender Document Administration Knowledge of medical consumables 5 years proven experience on an acknowledged ERP system like SAP, Oracle, Coupa, etc. Supply Chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e Sourcing and Procurement platforms) Demonstrate the ability to conduct Market Research (including Competitor and business gap analysis) Ability to perform client presentations, liaison, relationship development Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
