This role combines data engineering, machine learning, and software development skills. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to design, implement, and deploy data science solutions for complex business challenges. Key Responsibilities Data Exploration and Preprocessing: Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data characteristics and identify patterns. Data Cleaning: Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess and clean data for machine learning applications. Feature Engineering: Develop feature engineering pipelines to extract relevant information from raw data and work with data scientists to enhance model performance. Model Development and Deployment: Implement machine learning models, including training, validation, and testing; collaborate with software developers to deploy models into production. Data Pipeline Development: Design and build scalable and reliable data pipelines for ETL processes. Programming and Software Development: Utilize Python or Java for data science and engineering tasks; collaborate with software engineering teams. Optimization and Performance Tuning: Optimize algorithms and models for performance and scalability; implement monitoring and improvement processes. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions; participate in agile processes. Documentation: Document code, data pipelines, and system architecture for reproducibility and knowledge sharing. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar. Understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and statistical modeling. Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, Py Torch). Proficiency in designing and optimizing data pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
