This includes strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems that support clinical and administrative operations. The IT Administrator ensures high system availability, data security, compliance with healthcare IT standards, and optimal end-user support. The role demands strong leadership in network/server administration, vendor coordination, and policy enforcement. Job Responsibilities: IT Strategy & Healthcare System Support: Lead the implementation and support of EMR systems such as Cortex, ensuring alignment with medical center workflows and data security requirements. Ensure IT compliance with ADHICS and ADMCC standards, including documentation, security practices, and audit readiness. Act as the key liaison between IT and clinical/administrative teams to maximize system utilization and user satisfaction. IT Infrastructure & Operations Management: Manage the full IT infrastructure, including network architecture, servers, cloud platforms, and endpoint devices, ensuring uninterrupted operations across all locations. Oversee the administration of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain services. Configure, monitor, and maintain Forti Gate and Uni Fi firewalls, implementing network security protocols and remote access solutions. Network and Server Administration: Supervise and perform configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, NAS storage, and IP CCTV systems. Administer hosting environments including Bluehost, managing DNS, email routing, and web-based systems. Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for servers and databases, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance. Manage organization-wide user access and security policies within Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Oversee endpoint security measures including antivirus deployment, monitoring tools, and patch management. Coordinate IT support for both in-office and remote teams, ensuring secure connectivity and consistent performance. Supervise IT support activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues across Windows, mac OS, and Linux platforms. Provide leadership in troubleshooting and supporting AV systems, video conferencing, and specialized hardware like printers and scanners. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technology procurement, service agreements, and maintenance contracts. IT Asset Management & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, subscriptions, and licensing, ensuring timely renewals and compliance. Document IT procedures, configurations, and policies to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing. Digital & Media Support: Provide technical support for organizational social media platforms, web services, and digital outreach tools. Oversee data archiving workflows, ensuring long-term retention and security of clinical and administrative records in line with regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role, preferably in a healthcare or multi-site organization. Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Forti Gate, Microsoft 365, EMR platforms, and network infrastructure. Knowledge of ADHICS and healthcare IT compliance standards is a significant advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Skills: Healthcare IT & Compliance: Expertise in EMR systems (e.g., Cortex) with adherence to ADHICS and ADMCC standards. Infrastructure & Network Management: Proficient in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Forti Gate firewalls, Uni Fi, and cloud platforms. Cloud & Endpoint Security: Skilled in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, antivirus deployment, patch management, and remote access solutions. Disaster Recovery & Data Integrity: Strong knowledge of backup systems, disaster recovery planning, and secure data archiving. IT Support & Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead support teams, resolve cross-platform issues, and manage IT operations across locations. Vendor & Asset Management: Experienced in vendor coordination, IT procurement, license tracking, and documentation of IT assets and procedures. Competitive salary based on experience.
