Instrument Technician

Job Responsibilities Ensure safe maintenance execution of Instrumentation and Control Systems, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations, and international standards. Set and promote leadership in safety attitudes. Coordinate, supervise department activities, and provide technical support to team members. Instruct and lead technicians regarding acceptable attitudes and behaviors. Tasks Maintenance Execution Ensure services are carried out in strict compliance with company and client HSE rules. Execute preventive and corrective maintenance operations (routine and short-term). Coordinate contractor personnel for smooth service execution. Report and advise discipline supervisor daily. Implement and request logistical means for maintenance operations, considering constraints. Participate in daily, weekly, and site coordination meetings as required. Prepare maintenance reports for submission to the discipline supervisor. Manage spare parts movement and supervise stock of raw materials, PDR, consumables, and tools. Report progress and difficulties encountered to the discipline supervisor. Follow-up maintenance activities via a Work Order system and approve reports using CMMS tools like SAP, UNISUP, MAXIMO, DATASTREAM. Technical Support/Methods Use and suggest improvements for operating and maintenance procedures. Maintain an updated list of work that requires inspections or shutdowns. Anticipate potential problems in the plant to prevent non-productive operations. Team Leadership Participate in identifying training needs. Contribute to the nationalization plan. Assist in appraisal and competence assessments. Train, coach, and mentor local staff. HSE Commitment Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behavior, and actions. Ensure team compliance with safety regulations and take corrective measures if needed. Implement controls to mitigate risks and eliminate hazards. Monitor performance and compliance with safe work practices. Verify safety measures in permit-to-work systems, including area preparation and restoration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
