Position: Assistant Resident Engineer / Civil Engineer & Wet Utilities We are seeking an experienced engineer to support an infrastructure project based in Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi. Due to a robust project pipeline, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding. Key Responsibilities Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across infrastructure, buildings, transport, and other projects. Assist the Resident Engineer in daily operations, including reviewing contractor submittals, quality control, and quality assurance. Perform routine inspections to ensure proper construction supervision. Inspect work on-site, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and specifications. Document non-conformance issues and participate in resolutions. Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and regulations. Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documents. Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports. Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain timelines. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality control measures. Ensure safety and environmental compliance on-site. Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team and clients. Assist in preparing change orders and project documentation. Contribute to sustainable construction practices. Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10 years postgraduate experience, with at least 7 years on large projects. Regional experience preferred. Authority registration preferred. Ability to manage and coordinate teams of moderate size and complexity. UAE Driving License. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in infrastructure projects.
