As part of our strategic expansion across the MENA region, we are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our Abu Dhabi office. About the Role We're looking for a hands-on System-Technical Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you'll provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and mac OS environments. You'll handle service requests, troubleshoot office equipment, support VIP users, and maintain technical documentation. Strong diagnostic skills, a customer-first mindset, and solid knowledge of system administration and networking fundamentals are key. Key Responsibilities Perform initial diagnostics of incidents, fulfill service requests and provide consultations. Resolve hardware and software issues within the scope of the system-technical support line. Troubleshoot office IT equipment and software (when the issue is within the user’s or administrator’s capabilities). In the event of a serious hardware failure, prepare the equipment for transfer to a service center. After it returns, verify that it is functioning properly. Collaborate with specialists from other IT departments. If necessary, assign tasks to the appropriate DIT departments and forward requests accordingly. Create and maintain instructions and technical documentation in the corporate IT knowledge base. Provide support for VIP employees. Receive user requests via Service Desk, email, IP phone, or directly from users in the office. Qualifications Proven experience in system administration and troubleshooting on Windows and mac OS platforms. Strong knowledge of user account management, access rights configuration, and OS-level security policies. Skilled in OS installation, driver updates, and use of system logs (Event Viewer, Console) for diagnostics. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN setup, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Strong skills in log and error analysis, root cause identification, and issue resolution. Periodic participation in IT asset inventory processes. Proficiency in both Russian and English is required.
