Digital Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end software development activities across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on background in full-stack and Flutter mobile development, with solid experience in cloud-native architectures and leading agile teams. Description: 1.Lead and hands on Development: Translate business requirements into actionable tasks and technical specifications for the development team. Managing the sprint board Handle the sprint lifecycle by enforcing tech grooming, sprint demos, retro. Make sure that developers time is getting 100% utlized and no road blockers for development activities Lead and do in hands-on coding alongside the development team. Leads will allocate 50% of their time in core development activities like coding, user story grooming and PR reviews Leads should have the control on latest code and provide build or deployments. Conduct code reviews. Responsible for creating architectural documents, technical diagrams, infosec and data check list etc. and provide clarifications for approvals and PTVA. Proactively create solution documents prior to development and present it on ARB’s Make sure any major changes like new features or new capabilities are documents properly via ADR. Align technical delivery with digital platform architectural guidelines. Enforce sprint schedule release by adopting sprint cycles, git flow and cicd deployments. Lead on developing system integration such as Oracle, salesforce with business context etc. Identify and propose technical debts and proactively refine technical backlog. As a practice we should dedicate 10-15% of time for technical debts. Should have an active and live tech backlog groomed and ready always. Ensure timely delivery of technical task with expected quality. Tech auditing (audit score and defense) should implement and monitored. Unit test coverage with 70% No major build failures 2. Management and Communication: Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business contexts and requirements. Updating project management systems (Ivanti, JIRA, confluence) and make sure the project status is communicated and updated. Proactively communicate blockers, issues, conflicts, other project updates to management. Manage day-to-day activities of the development team to ensure project milestones are met. Facilitate collaboration between developers, designers, and product managers. Adhere to company polices and team culture 3. Technical Skills: Proven experience as a full-stack developer working on both web and mobile applications. Hands on experience with Flutter mobile development frameworks is must. Experience with cloud platforms (especially on GCP Kubernetes) and deploying salable applications. CI/CD Tools: Git Hub Actions Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Version Control: Git Hub Messaging Systems: Pub/Sub Analytics and Dashboard: GA and Superset Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or any equivalent diploma Masters in IT is an advantage Experience: 3+ years of experience in developing the mobile apps using Flutter 3+ years of experience in Dart 5+ years of experience in webservices development using node and dotnet 5+ years of experience in web development using nextjs 7+ years of overall IT experience in Software Engineering Hands on experience in Flutter development. Hands on experience in various open-source SDK/libraries Technical knowledge of other mobile and web development framework. Expertise in mobile app distribution using Apple App store and Google Play Store Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs including crashes and anrs to increase the functionality of the application Experience to work with offshore and onsite team members.
