Head of Equities Trading - Leading Bank in the UAE

The role would be as the head of the banks equities initiative. The person would have to well versed in different areas of equities business - the background work of what is needed in terms of regulatory setup, infrastructure needs and finally markets and risk taking. The successful person will work closely with MM to set up the equities trading for the bank. Once the initial set up is done, or if the person joins after MM has already created the initial set up, then the person will produce revenues and lead the expansion of the desk. The candidate come from a diverse background- senior equity strategist, or a investment / hedge funds portfolio manager or a bank trading desk. Ideally the person will be well versed with options and has diverse market experience (US, Europe etc). The candidate with direct pnl production background will be preferred.
