HVAC ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities: Review and interpret HVAC design drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for HVAC systems. Supervise site activities related to HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications. Liaise with consultants, clients, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow. Perform site inspections to verify progress and quality of HVAC works. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of HVAC materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and relevant UAE/local codes and regulations. Assist in quantity takeoffs, project planning, and resource allocation. Prepare progress reports, snag lists, and documentation for project closeout and handover. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC systems, preferably with contracting companies in the UAE/GCC. Proficiency in Auto CAD and familiarity with HVAC design software is a plus. Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment selection, ductwork, chilled water systems, ventilation systems, and controls. Experience in site coordination and resolving MEP conflicts. Excellent communication, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
