Senior Tax Specialist

The role to provide day-to-day support to the in-house tax team, with a focus on UAE Tax (corporate tax, transfer pricing and VAT) and International tax matters. The role is supportive in nature and non-decision-making, operating under the guidance of the internal tax leadership. The secondee will also collaborate closely with external tax consultants as needed. The scope includes, but is not limited to: 1. UAE Tax Support o Assist with interpreting and applying UAE Corporate Tax laws and regulations. Assist in data collation and liaising with external consultants on ongoing VAT matters including monthly / quarterly VAT return filings. Support compliance activities such as return preparation, transfer pricing, entity classification, tax support on audits and documentation. Contribute to internal technical notes, guidance materials, and tax impact assessments. Monitor regulatory updates and assist with analyzing implications. 2. International Tax Assistance o Support work on cross-border taxation matters including transfer pricing, treaty application, and tax structuring. Assist in data collection and preparation for Pillar Two / Glo BE rule analysis and reporting. Coordinate with external advisors and contribute to deliverables where applicable. Understanding and summarizing deliverables from consultants on international tax matters covering but not limited to tax matters of other jurisdictions (independent knowledge on other jurisdictions not expected). 3. General Support & Collaboration o Prepare materials and working papers for internal stakeholders and reviews. Provide support across various ongoing and ad hoc tax-related projects.
