Overview The raster and imagery software development team in Sharjah R&D Center is actively seeking applications for a dynamic, challenging, and exciting Product Engineering position where candidates can apply their remote sensing education and experience to help the Software Products team design, test, and release best in class image analysis software products. In this role, you will work with colleagues across Software Development in the design, testing, documenting, and release of new capabilities in our products. This is an exciting opportunity to focus on imagery across multiple modalities including Hyperspectral, Multispectral, Radar, Drone and other remotely sensed data. Responsibilities Test and document image analysis capability for multiple image modalities, across Arc GIS Pro, Arc GIS Enterprise on Windows and Linux, and Arc GIS Enterprise for Kubernetes Contribute innovative software designs that are highly intuitive to support image oriented analytical workflows Support software developers building software for performing GIS workflows Support the development and operation of automated and manual QA tests on standard operating procedures (SOPs), image quality metric evaluations and regression testing Requirements 1+ years of experience in quality assurance, test strategies, or test automation Knowledge in one or more of these disciplines: remote sensing, image processing, photogrammetry, and image analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's in geography, engineering, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or related field Recommended Qualifications Experience in Python scripting is an added benefit Familiarity with multiple image modalities #LI-Onsite #LI-PK1 The Company At Esri, diversity is more than just a word on a map.
