AECOM's Urbanism Planning team is looking for a forward-thinking Graduate Urban Analytics to join our 2026 Graduate Program. This role is ideal for individuals eager to apply their digital expertise to shape smarter, more sustainable urban environments. About the Role As a Graduate Digital Advisor, you will be at the intersection of data science, AI, and urban design, supporting the development of tools, workflows, and research that enhance city-making practices. You will work on a range of multidisciplinary projects and support teams in streamlining processes through automation, parametric design, and digital innovation. Your contributions will directly influence how we use spatial data and computational methods to inform planning, placemaking, and infrastructure design across the region. Key Responsibilities: Assist in building tools for spatial analysis, data visualization, and computational planning tasks. Support the application of AI, automation, and parametric design to improve project workflows. Assist with research on new methodologies, AI applications, and data-driven approaches in urban planning. Participate in internal training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills. Support training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives on AI, computational design, and digital workflows. Take responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion. Develop communication skills to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Apply proficiency in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, C, C#, Java/Python programming, mobile app development, SQL. What We're Looking For We're seeking digitally curious, motivated graduates who are: Experienced with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C#, SQL. Knowledgeable in Machine Learning and Neural Networks, with a passion for innovation. Interested in applying digital design automation or AI to urban design and planning challenges. Proactive communicators eager to contribute and learn in a collaborative environment. Passionate about using data and technology to shape better cities. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software/Data Engineering, or a related digital discipline from an accredited university. An interest in digital design tools and their application in architecture, planning, or urban design. Candidates must be recent graduates from 2024 or 2025 to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program. Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2: 1 (or equivalent) and above. If holding a Master's degree, it must have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor's to meet the program's continuous education requirement. Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible and are encouraged to apply for professional-level roles instead.
