Job Summary The Technical Sales Support Engineer – LV Switchgear will be responsible for providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for low voltage switchgear and control gear systems. This role involves direct customer interaction through various channels, onsite support for installation and commissioning, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure product quality and compliance. The engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, training, and product customization while ensuring adherence to international and UAE-specific electrical standards. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, hands-on experience with LV systems, and the ability to work effectively across departments and with clients in the UAE and GCC region. Duties & Responsibilities / What You Will Do Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for low voltage switchgear and control gear systems. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, drawings, and product specifications. Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely and professional resolution. Conduct site visits for installation supervision, commissioning, and fault diagnosis as required. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide pre-sales technical support. Coordinate with the engineering and production departments to ensure accurate customization and assembly of switchgear panels. Maintain detailed records of support cases and prepare reports on recurring issues and customer feedback. Support training sessions for internal teams and clients on product features and maintenance procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant international and local electrical standards and safety regulations. Required Qualifications / This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Below Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience in a technical support or field service role within the LV switchgear industry. Strong knowledge of low voltage electrical systems, switchgear components, and control gear. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings. Familiarity with IEC standards and local regulatory requirements in the UAE. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel within the UAE and occasionally across the GCC region.
