Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation) Nationality Any Arab National, Any European National, Any Anglophone National, Any CIS National Gender Male Vacancy 1 Vacancy Job Description The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer leads a team of technicians and manages electrical and instrumentation work to ensure the smooth operation of all equipment and instruments during manufacturing. Define and direct installation, preparation, configuration, and checkout processes for process instruments with the Maintenance Manager. Evaluate systems, products, and applications through research, configuration, and design changes to meet production and customer requirements. Ensure system and instrument quality through testing and verification before production release. Maintain equipment by following manufacturer instructions and procedures, requesting repairs as needed. Measure and record electricity and gas consumption daily and monthly. Analyze findings and suggest improvements to the Maintenance Manager. Manage SAP requests for new tools, equipment, and spare parts within the department budget. Verify quotations, approve purchase orders, and coordinate with the store department upon receipt. Maintain records for all equipment, machines, utilities, and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO. Schedule and perform ongoing and preventive maintenance to prolong equipment lifespan. Assist troubleshooting efforts, evaluate new equipment and techniques, and ensure optimal process efficiency during peak production. Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area according to company standards. Follow safety regulations and promote safe working practices. Adhere to QMS, EHSMS of Abu Dhabi, and ISO 9001 standards. Desired Candidate Profile Qualified Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineer. At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within glass, building materials, or related manufacturing industries. Proven experience in PLC programming and SCADA development.
