Responsibilities Perform respiratory care procedures as per established policies, under the guidance of senior staff and physicians. Operate equipment autonomously, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Report shortages of materials to supervisors and order replenishments when necessary. Participate in developing and modifying respiratory care plans in collaboration with physicians. Assist in cardiac and respiratory emergency situations, including airway management and code team support. Perform pulmonary and sleep diagnostic procedures as required. Troubleshoot respiratory care equipment and report maintenance needs. Contribute to staff education, training, and preceptorship of students. Participate in departmental education sessions and clinical case reviews. Accountabilities Monitor patient responses and ensure high standards of care. Document patient care activities accurately according to guidelines. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1 year as a respiratory therapist. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or an Associate Degree (minimum two years). Current National License as a Respiratory Therapist.
