The Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to join our team on a full-time secondment at a client’s office in Abu Dhabi. Acting as a direct extension of the client’s communications department, this role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a high-impact organization, overseeing both internal and external communications efforts. You will lead execution across the account, collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and make strategic recommendations in real-time—while liaising closely with the agency’s Senior Partner on high-level priorities. The Skills Required Technical Expertise in strategic communications planning and execution Proficient in managing integrated, multi-channel campaigns across digital and traditional platforms Capable of securing high-profile interview placements and media coverage Able to develop and implement strategic campaign plans aligned with client business objectives Collaborate effectively with creative teams to ensure timely and high-quality campaign delivery Provide ongoing campaign performance analysis, insights, and recommendations for optimization Skilled at crafting internal and external messaging frameworks, content strategies, and narratives Approval of all content before it is shared with the client Experience Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a PR or communications agency Strong background in client management, team leadership, and delivering high-caliber campaigns Track record of working with government and/or private sector clients is preferred Language Requirements Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written) Able to draft and review content in both languages Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following: Develop and maintain good client relations at all times, leading the relationship, providing senior client counsel and resolving issues quickly and efficiently Oversee the management of all client projects successfully, hitting KPIs and objectives set, and show strong campaign management skills Lead the day-to-day execution of the account strategy Showcase successful campaign budget management Lead the day-to-day execution of the account strategy Search and place substantial features for all clients by regular proactive contact with the media and influencers Write excellent quality and grammatically correct press releases, pitches, strategies and new business proposals with excellent attention to detail Sign off on all materials before they are submitted to clients Oversee team output when required 25 days of annual leave plus agreed state holidays We give you one additional day of holiday entitlement per year served, capped at five days Annual flight ticket home to your country of passport issue Private medical insurance 10% commission on any fees introduced to the company Remote working for 10 days over the summer If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Public Relations Industries Public Relations and Communications Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bacchus Agency by 2x Get notified about new Public Relations Account Director jobs in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates .
