Maintenance Manager - Abu Dhabi Solar Power Plant - UAE Experience - 15 to 25 years (Maintenance & Inspection) Long Term Contract Job Description Performance Improvement - Plant Inspection - Plant Maintenance - DCS Availability - Budget Control Provide technical support to the daily operations of the plant by reviewing production and efficiency data and advising on operational changes to meet targets cost-effectively. Follow guidelines from technology suppliers and industry best practices to establish and update operating policies ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations for long-term optimization. Manage troubleshooting services for plant operational issues. Provide guidance to staff working on the Shams Power Plant for reliability and daily operations. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. 15+ years of experience in power plant operations. Skills Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles. Proficiency with PC software, CMMS, and reporting tools. Excellent command of English; Arabic is advantageous. Knowledge of SCADA systems (e.g., Metso, Siemens, ABB). Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, asset integrity management, and operating systems. Ability to respond to supervision and improve plant operations. Coordination skills between O&M staff and contractors.
