Location Category Job Type: Full-time Working Days Job Description The Utility/Stake Holder Engineer works under the technical direction of the site Resident Engineer at the assigned construction site to assist in the supervision of the Utilities Installation and Stakeholder requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises and reviews the technical and coordination works related to utilities. Provides support during Utilities NOC process and tracks to ensure that they are completed on time. Position is assigned at construction site. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reviews utility submittals including shop drawings and utility drawings, surge analysis reports, and specifications for compliance with the Contract requirements and design intent. Contributes to the planning and layout of essential utility structures such as pipelines, drainage, and distribution systems considering diversions wherever necessary. Develops and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and internal team members. Conducts clash detections and raises resolutions. Coordinates with multiple disciplines to deliver consolidated utility packages to clients and authorities. Gathers and analyses stakeholder requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives. Aware of the required authorities standards and requirements. Monitors progress of drawings and documentation for NOCs. Coordinates with the client and liaises with all government offices and service authorities in UAE for all technical queries and issues. Tracks utilities NOCs and ensures all of them are completed on time. Liaises with all relevant agencies/authorities and client team to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs. Attends coordination meetings and provides support during NOC process to the design team. Participates in project design meetings and recommends improvements if needed. Coordinates and collects information from relevant agencies, consultants, and contractors for all technical queries and issues, to prepare weekly and monthly reports, as well as design drawings for management and clients. Attends project meetings as required and follows up with outstanding tasks. Completes additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, with 10-12 years of related work experience. Must have knowledge and experience in dealing with the approval process for infrastructure projects with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder in the Abu-Dhabi Emirate. Fluency in written and verbal communication (English and Arabic). Strong leadership qualities and a track record of delivery. Proven experience in innovation and process optimization. Good time management ability and competence in prioritizing tasks and workload. Proficient user of Microsoft Office software. Ability to use Auto-CAD preferable. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders. Candidate should ideally have a UAE driver's license. #J-18808-Ljbffr
