Finacle Core Banking - General Ledger Techno functional Consultant

We are currently looking for a Finacle Core Banking - General Ledger Techno-functional Consultant for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions. Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. 5 years of experience working with Finacle Core Banking, with at least 3 years in the General Ledger module. Strong understanding of double-entry accounting, financial reporting, and banking processes. Experience in techno-functional roles, capable of both functional analysis and basic technical tasks (queries, report development, scripting, etc.). Familiarity with Finacle scripting, APIs, COBOL (if applicable), SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience with GL mapping, reconciliation tools, and automated posting logic in Finacle. Exposure to end-of-day (EOD)/end-of-month (EOM) processes and accounting schedules. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Functional: Demonstrate deep expertise in Finacle Core Banking Finance stream. Implement, configure, and maintain GL module settings, Chart of Accounts, posting rules, and automated entries. Gather and document business requirements, finalize deliverables, and conduct gap analysis. Participate in discovery sessions to understand existing processes and recommend configurations. Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials. Support SIT/UAT and assist users with process validation. Technical: Good understanding of Finacle Product Architecture & Customization layers. Experience with Finacle customization flow, including custom menus, reports, MRT & Jasper, batch jobs, and debugging. Strong experience with Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions). Experience in Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and report designing.
