Operations ROLE SUMMARY The Store Manager is accountable for achieving sales targets, managing and developing the store team to maximize profitability, maintaining brand and company image, ensuring operational compliance, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This role oversees daily store operations and workforce management aligned with Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle's overall business objectives. ROLE PROFILE Ensure delivery of the highest customer service standards by the entire store team at all times. Develop innovative strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and improve profitability. Monitor brand performance, review stock levels, and analyze best sellers and slow-moving inventory to generate ideas and action plans to boost sales. Ensure compliance of staff with company policies, procedures, and standards, including security, financial, and record-keeping practices. Coach, train, and mentor the store team to enhance product knowledge and retail skills, improving customer service levels. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, reporting concerns promptly. Organize and manage in-store processes such as cash handling, stockroom management, and stock-taking. Provide analytical feedback to the Operations, Buying, and Planning departments regarding products, ranging, pricing, and competitive activities. REQUIREMENTS 4–5 years of industry experience with managerial background. Proven track record of maximizing business performance. Strong understanding of main customer segments and ability to guide the team accordingly. Ability to identify critical paths and convene stakeholders for timely decision-making. Decisive, knowing when to make decisions independently and when to delegate.
