Information Technology Auditor

Note : This job is located in the Emirate of Ajman, UAE.Position Summary : AQAAR is seeking a highly experienced IT Auditorto lead internal audits of IT systems, assess IT control environments, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001and other best practices such as COBITand ITIL. The ideal candidate must be currentlyresiding in the UAEand possess aminimum of 7 years' experiencein IT auditing, particularly with hands-on exposure to ISO 27001 frameworks. The IT Auditor plays a key role in strengthening AQAAR’s IT governance by identifying risks, enhancing compliance with international standards, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems that support business-critical operations. The IT Auditor will collaborate with key departments to ensure IT initiatives align with corporate objectives and regulatory expectations.Key Responsibilities : 1. Conduct end-to-end IT audits across systems, networks, applications, and cybersecurity operations.2. Ensure IT operations comply with ISO 27001and related international information security standards.3. Evaluate and improve internal IT controls, risk management processes, and data integrity mechanisms.4. Assess policies and procedures against frameworks like COBIT,ITIL, and relevant UAE regulations.5. Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and practical recommendations.6. Monitor implementation of corrective actions and ensure timely closure of audit observations.7. Provide advisory support during new IT project rollouts to ensure built-in security and compliance.8. Stay up to date with the latest regulatory, technological, and audit trends affecting IT governance.Minimum Requirements : Residency : Must be currently residing in the United Arab Emirates Education : Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field Experience : Minimum of7 years of experiencein IT auditing, with significant exposure to ISO 27001 Certifications : CISA(preferred), CISSP, ISO / IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud systems, data protection controls Frameworks & Standards : Deep understanding of ISO 27001,COBIT,ITIL, and IT risk management practices Soft Skills : Strong analytical thinking, report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Preferred Skills : Experience auditing in a government or real estate environment Knowledge of UAE data protection laws and compliance requirements Familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery planning audits Experience using data analytics in auditing (e.g., Power BI, Python) #J-18808-Ljbffr
