Graduate Electrical / Mechanical Engineer (Emirati Hire) Dubai Ramboll is seeking a young Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our Dubai offices. The successful candidate will support electrical engineering services on projects for Ramboll Middle East. You will join our Building Department As a Graduate Engineer– Electrical, Buildings, you'll be part of our global High-Rise and Complex Buildings department, which has designed over 200 tall buildings worldwide, including some of the most technically challenging. You will work with engineers on design projects in Dubai and support our global team across offices in India, the UK, Singapore, and other locations. Key responsibilities include: Assist in designing electrical systems for building projects, including MV and LV power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, life safety, ICT, security, and other ELV systems, from concept to tender design. Help prepare load estimations and coordinate with other disciplines and third parties. Support senior engineers in space planning, reporting, and preliminary calculations during design phases. Collaborate closely with remote design teams to ensure compliance with local requirements. Provide technical support for electrical engineering and assist in obtaining local authority approvals. Follow company procedures, manage workload, and demonstrate flexibility. Engage in training programs for personal development and future growth. Maintain attention to detail, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills. Follow QA/QC procedures and ensure health and safety standards are met. Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 1 year of experience in the Middle East is beneficial. Knowledge of electrical building services design across various sectors. Awareness of sustainable design practices. Ability to adapt to UAE work culture and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects. Membership in a professional institution is optional.
