Project Engineer - DIVETECH, Maritime & Shipping Cluster

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing various projects within the oil and gas industry. This role involves planning project stages, evaluating specifications, ensuring project deadlines are met, and monitoring overall progress. The Project Engineer will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. About the Maritime Cluster AD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster is led by Noatum Maritime, a globally connected agile entity operating across multiple countries. With a fleet of over 250 vessels and decades of expertise, Noatum Maritime offers a diverse portfolio of services delivering “everything you need on the seas.” Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budgets. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and financial constraints. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accurate and thorough project executions. Liaise between clients, support staff, third-party consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all project phases. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges. Study project design, customer requests, standards of performance and cost estimate to determine project specifications. Design performance tests and conducts them on projects to assure quality. Monitor project progression, resolve any issues that arise and coordinate team activities to maintain the approved schedule. Control project pace and suggest schedule changes as needed. Adhere to establish budget and aid in contractor contract administration. Update management team and other project engineers on project progression, completion and any necessary updates regularly. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding a safe and clean workplace for all team members. Maintain an organized and logical database containing necessary project information and write computer programs for the database as necessary. Comply with all company and federal regulations. Actively contribute to the company’s team-oriented environment. Qualifications Minimum 5 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Industry Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related to later field. Previous experience in project management, project engineering, or project planning (scope, schedule, cost, quality). Strong field management experience. Strong verbal and written communication in English. Required Skills Ability to work with multiple discipline projects. Project management and supervision.
