The Key Objectives For This Role Are Provide comprehensive cost, planning, scheduling, and risk assessment support to project teams and clients, especially on smaller projects without dedicated control teams. Set up and manage project controls systems and tools for effective management and reporting. Assist in collating, analyzing, and reporting project cost, schedule, and risk data. Engage with stakeholders across projects, offering coaching and guidance to less experienced controllers. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Act as the primary contact with clients and contractor Project Controllers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of costs and progress. Report on planned versus actual progress and monitor the impact of milestones on costs and schedules. Identify, monitor, and report on project critical paths, providing early warnings for potential delays. Produce regular project cost and planning reports. Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures and control structures aligned with project scopes. Manage project budgets, change requests, and forecasts, ensuring proper impact assessments. Support billing processes and cost-related queries. Assist with project quantity updates, variance reports, and risk management activities. Create and update project schedules, including Gantt charts, and monitor resource needs. Identify slippages, recommend recovery actions, and manage change orders and variations. Participate in client meetings, proposal schedule preparation, and risk workshops. Ensure adherence to project controls processes and standards, liaising with clients to meet quality, time, and budget expectations. Qualifications Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of industry experience, with at least 4 years in project control roles. Proficiency in project planning software such as MS Project and Primavera. Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of Contracts Management, Commercial Management, and Project Management principles. Experience with earned value and progress monitoring techniques. Understanding of risk management processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
