Accountant

Location: United Arab Emirates / Abu Dhabi Experience: 2 to 4 years Industry: Hospitality / Hotel industry background is a MUST Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in the hospitality industry, specifically within hotels or catering services. You will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and managing daily accounting operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports. Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Assist in budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and other financial regulations. Monitor daily cash flow and support cash management activities. Coordinate with hotel departments (e.g., F&B, Front Office) to track revenue and expenses. Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation. Develop and enforce internal accounting policies and controls. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role within the hospitality or hotel industry. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books, Tally, or ERP systems (preferably hotel PMS-integrated systems). Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and hotel financial operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Must have experience working in hotels, resorts, or hospitality groups. Valid UAE driving license is required.
