The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS-based financial modeling, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on banking products and services. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing models, supporting regulatory requirements, and collaborating with both internal and client teams across the GCC region. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and enhance financial models deployed at client banks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to identify and implement model optimization opportunities. Improve model performance, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Provide analytical support for new financial products and strategic initiatives. Ensure proper documentation, version control, and governance of all model changes. Assist in regulatory and audit processes related to model validation and governance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAS modeling and financial analytics. Required Skills: Strong understanding of banking products, financial forecasting, and risk modeling. Proficiency in SAS (Base, Macro, Enterprise Guide, or similar tools). Experience working with large datasets and performing complex data transformations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Prior experience with financial institutions in the GCC region. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III and IFRS 9. Exposure to banking modules and systems used in the GCC. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
