HSE Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highlyexperienced and detail-oriented Senior Advisor for Safety Health& Environment (SH&E) Supervision to join our teamin Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. In this critical role you willlead our efforts to ensure compliance with SH&E regulationsdevelop and implement comprehensive safety programs and foster aculture of safety and environmental responsibility across ourorganization. Key Job Duties: Serve as theprimary point of contact for all SH&E-related mattersproviding expert guidance to management andstaff Develop implement and overseecomprehensive SH&E strategies and programs aligned withorganizational goals and regulatoryrequirements Conduct regular risk assessmentsand safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas forimprovement Lead investigations into accidentsinjuries and near-misses implementing corrective actions to preventrecurrence Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to integrate SH&E best practices into all aspects ofoperations Supervise and mentor junior SH&E staff fostering their professional development andensuring high-quality performance Stay updatedon UAE and international SH&E regulations standards andbest practices ensuring organizationalcompliance Develop and deliver SH&Etraining programs to enhance awareness and competency across theorganization Prepare and present detailed SH&E reports and recommendations to seniormanagement Manage emergency response planningand crisis management initiatives Liaise withregulatory bodies and represent the organization in SH&E-relatedmatters. Qualifications: Bachelorsdegree in Occupational Safety Environmental Science or a relatedfield. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalentcertification (required for candidates with Engineering or relateddegrees). Minimum of 10 years of experience ina relevant SH&E field with a focus on supervision andleadership. Proven track record in developingimplementing and managing effective safety and healthprograms. In-depth knowledge of UAE andinternational SH&E legislative and regulatoryobligations. Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities with excellent risk assessment andmitigation skills. Outstanding communicationand interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at alllevels of the organization. Proficiency inusing relevant software and tools for SH&E management andreporting. Demonstrated experience inconducting inspections reporting issues and following up oncorrective actions. Familiarity withinternational SH&E standards (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO14001). Strong leadership and supervisoryskills with the ability to mentor and develop teammembers. Knowledge of local UAE safetyregulations and standards. Willingness totravel within the UAE as required for site inspections andaudits.
