Engineer IGW Support

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecom or relevant engineering stream Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Fixed Voice & IGW Network within the telecommunication industry. Thorough knowledge of call routing on the soft switch. Understanding of pre and post digit analysis in class 4 gateways to analyze escalated issues. Knowledge of SIP protocol and trace analysis capabilities. High-level understanding of service flow within fixed voice networks and IGWs. Knowledge of IP networks and routing protocols. Deep knowledge of protocols like SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, H.248, and Q.931. Understanding of network performance KPIs such as ASR, ACD, NER, and related issues. Experience with Genband C20/CS2K Soft switch, BVS, and HIPCC. Knowledge of Fixed Voice Nokia FMC solutions, tools, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Nokia i SBC solutions. Skills: Technical expertise in IGWs, ISBC technologies, and Fixed Voice Networks. Understanding of Mobile Core networks. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and ensure follow-through. Teamwork and leadership qualities.
