Role Objective To manage his project(s)/site execution effectively such that they are completed within the time, cost and quality requirements of the contract while adhering to the company’s safety practices. Implements and provides feedback about creative solutions that reduce the manpower requirements, cost and/or time of projects by assigning responsibilities efficiently. Roles and Responsibilities Assists in the introduction of new methods of construction, equipment, and machinery to improve the MEP services Promotes a culture of logistic planning and productivity measurement. Optimizes overall staff, manpower, equipment, and materials allocation on site. Supervises the MEP scope of work in assigned project and ensures its completion within budgeted time, cost and quality standards while complying with the regulations of the relevant authorities. Supervises overall attendance, productivity, and safety of MEP staff and manpower on site. Assists Project Manager–MEP/ MEP Manager with preparation of Project Schedule, Manpower Schedule, Material Log, and drawing log, and any changes thereof in coordination with Planning and Cost Control Units for initial project planning. Issues all site-related material requisition forms using Product Catalogue, coordinates purchase and delivery of required materials in coordination with Procurement Department, and oversees inflow/outflow of site store materials. Ensures that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria identified for the project. Conducts daily meetings with site staff to organize work scope for the day/next day. Responsible for issuing instructions to the site staff to complete the works in accordance with the project plan, schedules, specifications, contract and allocated resources. Responsible for monitoring all sub-contractor works to ensure that the works are as per the job specifications, timeline and contract requirements. Monitors and compiles productivity rates as required by the Planning and Cost Control units. Prepares methods of statements as needed for the project. Responsible for the issuance of weekly and monthly progress reports and progress photographs. Responsible for the safety at site by coordinating with the site engineer and the safety officer. Ensures his site image is in compliance with Company standards and policies. Attends weekly meetings with the Project Manager, Project Engineers, and Site Engineers for look-ahead schedule. Corresponds with consultants and sub-contractors on site-related matters and ensures good relations with them. Assigns tasks and responsibilities to engineers and foremen. Assists with recruitment of staff and manpower in the MEP department. Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Electrical MEP department Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electricl or Mechanical) Minimum of 8 years relevant experience Behavioral Skills: Customer orientation, professional development, teamwork, process excellence, execution excellence, visionary, strategy and planning, decision making, leadership, risk management, results orientation, managing people, negotiation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
