Job Description & Requirements Published on 07/04/2025 Overview To perform less complex and routine tasks related to full flight simulators, flight training devices, cockpit procedure trainers, and associated support devices to simulate those requirements that may arise during maintenance of the assigned aircraft. Perform O, I, and D Level maintenance when applicable. Also responsible for: Follow day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Provide technical support to all flight simulators to ensure they are operational and functioning efficiently. Perform all maintenance actions, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting complex problems on simulators and aircraft. Perform timely pre-flight, corrective, and preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and inspections on flight simulator training devices in accordance with manuals, procedures, and standards. Assist in the development and enhancement of trainers and systems, including software evaluation, testing, and programming to maintain certification for simulator operation. Monitor equipment performance, interface with customers and instructors, and provide courteous service and support to improve operation and reliability. Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure a safe work environment. Follow departmental policies, processes, and procedures for controlled and consistent work execution.
