Job Overview: An opportunity has arisen for a to join as a Sous Chef . The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation activities. Supervise and support Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs in delivering consistent quality. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in all preparation and storage areas. Assist in planning menus and developing new recipes with consideration for seasonal ingredients. Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with procurement to maintain stock levels. Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of resources. Conduct training and mentoring for junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards. Support special events and VIP services with customized menu execution.
