Manager HR Communications & Events

Synopsis Etihad is hiring a Manager for HR Communications & Events to plan, design, and deliver strategic and lifecycle HR communications and People & Corporate Affairs events for the HR leadership, supporting the HR vision, mission, strategy, priority programmes, policies, and processes. Accountabilities Lead and develop the HR communications strategy, ensuring alignment with Etihad values, brand, tone of voice, and People plan. Create narrative-driven communications to help staff understand their role, importance, and impact on the People Strategy and company purpose. Translate the People strategy and priorities into clear, concise communications throughout the year. Enhance the HR brand internally, demonstrating value to stakeholders. Develop and execute communication and event plans supporting major HR projects and lifecycle events, ensuring consistency and audience relevance. Manage budgets for communication, HR branding, and events. Establish effective two-way communication channels between HR and the business at global and local levels. Support the development of internal presentations to communicate HR initiatives professionally and consistently. Coordinate visuals and multimedia content for strategic programs and events. Collaborate with Communications, Learning & Development, and Brand & Marketing teams to ensure aligned messaging. Implement metrics to evaluate HR communication effectiveness and gather feedback to improve HR interventions. Manage HR content on the Etihad intranet, ensuring up-to-date and engaging information. Develop and uphold Etihad’s employer brand principles and style for HR communications. Engage stakeholders effectively to foster positive sentiment and transparency around HR policies and initiatives. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in high-profile organizations, preferably in HR environments, with proven skills in internal communications and event management. Experience in strategic communications planning and handling major projects or issues. Airline industry experience and working in dynamic environments are advantageous.
