Senior Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities Support the strategic roadmap and annual budget for their category in collaboration with the Category Head. Identify, gather, analyze, and summarize purchase requirements and demand; prepare sourcing strategies and complex sourcing processes. Support the creation and implementation of sourcing strategies in compliance with legal, internal policies, good practices, and business goals. Manage sourcing activities for new project development, ensuring milestones and timelines are met. Oversee cost reduction initiatives based on technical and commercial intelligence. Negotiate and finalize prices for supply agreements, contracts, and letters of intent, aligning with procurement services. Analyze current spend patterns, identify cost drivers and opportunities, and interpret data. Assess supplier offers and quantify total cost of ownership (TCO). Develop and manage supplier relationships, including performance management. Report on sourcing strategies, outcomes, and benefits regularly. Participate in procurement process improvements and governance enhancements. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends and developments. Collaborate with Procurement Category Leads to fulfill category plans. Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in large indirect and direct procurement organizations handling various contract types across multiple sectors. Knowledge of procurement and contract management software is a plus. Proficiency in procurement sourcing and RFX processes. Understanding of best-in-class procurement practices, systems, and legal considerations. Customer-focused with strong partnering, influencing, and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Operational experience with SAP Ariba, e-Rfx, and digital tools. Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree (preferably BE/B.Tech). Fluency in English; Arabic is optional. Preferred certifications: MCIPS, CIPS, or APICS-CSCP.
