Technical Coordinator

Technical coordinator works as part of the Design team to ensure all the projects are following the technical and FF&E requirements. The KPI of the role would be - Ensuring Quality outputs in the 2D shop drawings. - Managing the submissions of FFE requirements (LOF and FFE lists) as per schedule. Roles and Responsibilities: Effectively co-ordinate with Interior Designers, Visualizers, CAD and Estimation team regarding the projects details, status and technical requirements. Responsible to update the Master Furniture layout upon final 3Ds approval, this developed layout should be submitted to the client as part of the final design packages, also, it will be used as the main layout reference in the FF&E process. Monitor Digital Library Management of the Assistant Design coordinators. 1. Gypsum wall moldings library (3D and 2D). 2. Ceiling cornice moldings library (3D and 2D). Review the list of finishes (LOF) for each project upon approval of the 3Ds and include it in the final design submission package. Responsible to prepare FFE List upon the 3D approval and update the Furniture layout according to the selected furniture. Responsible of reviewing and approving the 2D packages prior to the submission to the Interior Designer for the final internal approval. Ensure that any RFI from other departments or 3rd party stakeholders are addressed in timely manner. Role holder should follow the design process diligently and promptly to ensure effective productivity of the coordination team. Requirements: Candidate with 5-8 years of UAE experience working with detailed technical drawings (interiors), joinery detailing, Finishes, digital Material library would be highly preferred. Candidate from Architectural background is mandatory. Experience handling high end residential or hospitality project is mandatory. Experience clarifying the design concerns on the site would be a plus but not mandatory. Good communication and leadership skills. Willing to relocate and work in Fujairah is mandatory.
