API Developer

We have an urgent requirement for an API Developer (with experience in Terraform, Azure, and API Gateway for Microservices) for one of our banking clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Experience with Terraform is a MUST to apply for this role. Experience in Azure is a MUST to apply for this role. Experience in API Gateway solutions (such as AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or Kong) is a MUST. Experience in API Development is a MUST. The first round is an online test on Gorilla for 1.5 hours. Candidates ready to give this test shall only apply. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs in a microservices environment. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (Ia C) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Work closely with cloud services on Microsoft Azure, utilizing various tools and services for deployment, monitoring, and security of APIs and microservices. Configure, deploy, and manage API Gateway solutions to route traffic, monitor API performance, and ensure security across services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Dev Ops, QA, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensure APIs follow best practices for security, performance, and scalability. Troubleshoot and optimize the performance of microservices and APIs in production environments. Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure code quality and easy collaboration.
