Job Description: BIM/CAD Technician (Infra & Dry Utilities) - Street Lighting Dubai, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be required to perform from basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments. What You'll Be Doing: Experience on infrastructure dry utilities (Street lighting, Traffic Signal, Landscape Lighting etc.). Work closely with CAD & BIM Managers and Design Leads to complete the assigned project deliverables in compliance with the required Standards and Quality. Work with CAD & BIM Managers, Design Leads, and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, ensuring timely completion. Review each drawing for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards, in accordance with the company QA/QC process. Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families. Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Candidates with knowledge of local authority standards and regulations (DEWA, RTA, etc.) are preferred. What Required Skills You'll Bring: 3-Year Diploma/Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Draughtman related. Minimum 5+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects including (street lighting, traffic signal, landscape lighting etc.). Software experience required: Auto CAD, Micro Station, Civil 3D, Navisworks. Common Data Environment: Project Wise & Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Ability to communicate clearly in English.
