Learn more: About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in creating, assembling, and repairing various steel structures and products according to blueprints and specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced environment. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements and specifications Cut, shape, and form steel parts using various tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and cutting torches Assemble steel components through welding, bolting, or riveting to create finished products Perform quality control checks to ensure all fabricated items meet specifications and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs Adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks effectively Work in challenging environmental conditions, including high temperatures common in Dubai Stay updated on local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all fabrication processes What do we need from you High school diploma or equivalent required Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred 3-5 years of experience in steel fabrication Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills Strong knowledge of measuring and cutting tools, as well as metal fabrication equipment Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment Basic understanding of metallurgy, material properties, and structural engineering principles Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai Familiarity with international steel fabrication standards Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials Ability to work in hot climate conditions typical of Dubai Effective communication and teamwork skills Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies in steel fabrication #J-18808-Ljbffr
