Junior Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the mechanical erectionand commissioning activities on site. Specifically the key responsibilities include: Follow-up of partner and subcontractor mechanical erection andcommissioning activities to ensure project timelines and quality standards aremet.Assist the Mechanical Lead Engineer in day-to-day construction andcommissioning tasks ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical works.Coordinate with partners and subcontractors as required for the assignedtasks ensuring that all mechanical activities align with the project scope andschedule.Support the Mechanical Lead Engineer with technical aspects of the projectand contribute to resolving any mechanical issues or challenges that ariseduring construction and commissioning phases.Ensure adherence to all relevant quality control documentation andprocedures during mechanical turnover operations (TOps).Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanicalsystems and equipment ensuring they meet required specifications andfunctionality.Carry out inspections and provide support in the testing of mechanicalsystems and components such as pumps piping valves and pressuresystems.Provide technical support for mechanical equipment installation ensuringcompliance with safety and environmental standards.Perform other tasks assigned by the Mechanical Lead Engineer to ensure thesuccessful completion of mechanical activities as per project requirements.
