We are currently recruiting a Manager - Platform Excellence for our client, based in Dubai . Please note: This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility of extension depending on project continuity and individual performance. Job Purpose: The Manager - Platform Excellence is responsible for overseeing the technical roadmap, governance, and lifecycle management of IT platforms and products. This role collaborates closely with Op Co Tech Teams, Enterprise Technology teams, Auditors, IT Security, and Risk teams to ensure: Adherence to governance practices Ongoing platform performance, scalability, and reliability Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Maintain the Enterprise Tech Inventory; coordinate with Company Tech & other OPCO Leads to maintain the inventory and its governance. Develop, maintain, and govern the technical roadmap for application platforms and products, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals. Oversee the lifecycle management of application platforms—from deployment and optimization to retirement—ensuring sustainability and operational excellence. Modernize the Application Lifecycle Management processes, technology, and tools. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement automation to enhance platform efficiency. Develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality platform performance. Establish quality control processes and oversee audits to maintain compliance with industry standards and business objectives. Liaise proactively with internal auditors, IT Security, and Risk Management teams to facilitate governance and compliance activities. Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, best practices, policies, procedures, and standards aligned with the company's standards. Lead governance reviews, audits, and assessments, ensuring corrective actions are identified and addressed promptly. Develop and monitor KPIs related to platform performance, compliance, adherence, risk management, and governance practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. 6–8 years of experience in IT platform management, enterprise architecture, or technology governance. Proven experience in managing application lifecycle and technical roadmaps. Experience working with cross-functional teams including IT Security, Risk, and Audit 8–12 years of experience in IT platform management, enterprise architecture, or technology governance.
