Project Hiring / Contractors Strategic Hiring Partner across Cyber Security ( SOC , Network Security, GRC , Info Security, Pentesting ) at Salt Job Title : Director of Governance & Risk Job Summary : An experienced Director of Governance & Risk is required to lead enterprise-wide technology governance, risk, and compliance efforts. This strategic role is responsible for setting direction, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations, and enhancing operational excellence across IT functions. Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement governance and risk management frameworks that align with business and technology strategies. Oversee the execution of complex, enterprise-level technology programs with a focus on risk-informed decision-making and compliance. Leverage expertise in information management, SDLC, IT service management, agile / lean practices, infrastructure operations, enterprise architecture, and ITIL standards. Engage and influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and transparent communication. Inspire and lead teams by communicating clear vision and direction, fostering collaboration and performance. Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to drive continuous improvement and value delivery. Translate complex governance and risk issues into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Background & Expertise : 10–15 years of progressive experience in governance, risk, audit, or program management within enterprise IT or group technology settings. Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, cross-functional teams and implementing enterprise governance programs. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
