About the Job We have an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. About You High School Certificate with emphasis in Technical Trades Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the hotel industry Basic skills in woodwork, fixtures, furniture, gypsum board, doors, cabinets, and carpentry work. Decorations, painting, and polishing are advantages. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e. Lockout Tag out, JSA’s), safety awareness information, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, keep logs and correspondence.
