AV We are seeking a skilled Home Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Design and Commissioning Team. This hands-on role involves working on luxury villas, commercial buildings, and high-rise developments. The candidate will collaborate closely with our in-house MEP, HVAC, BMS, and ELV teams to deliver integrated smart building solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with local authority regulations, project specifications, and approved technical drawings. A strong technical background, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation in smart home and building automation technologies are essential. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and commission KNX, Lutron, Crestron, and Control4 systems Deliver fully integrated solutions for Lighting, GRMS, HVAC, and Shading Controls Work on Audio/Video systems including BGM (background music), home cinema setups, video walls, and multi-room AV distribution Perform DALI lighting system integrations; DMX knowledge is a bonus Manage chilled water, DX, FCUs, and package units using relay modules and fan coil controllers Collaborate with BMS, MEP, HVAC, and ELV teams for seamless integration Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, intercoms, gate barriers, SMATV, PABX, Wi-Fi, and structured cabling Understand protocols like Modbus (RTU/TCP), BACnet (MSTP/IP), RS232/RS485 Familiarity with systems such as FAHU, AHU, MAHU, pumps, exhaust fans, and other MEP equipment is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with Node-RED, MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, and Web Sockets is a strong advantage Ideal Candidate Strong KNX/Lutron programming background; KNX Basic Certification is a plus Experience in Lutron, Crestron, Control4 programming; Crestron CTI-P101/P201 is an advantage Proven experience in residential and commercial automation Hands-on experience with AV systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, Wi-Fi systems, SMATV, and gate barriers Solid experience in HVAC integrations and control strategies is essential Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent collaboration skills across BMS, MEP, HVAC, and ELV teams Location: Dubai, UAE Experience: Minimum 4 years in the same field A valid UAE driving license is required Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
